3. Status of Accessibility
On October 3, 2026, the homepage www.hkk-wr.de was automatically tested using axe-core against the criteria of WCAG 2.0, 2.1, and 2.2, as well as EN 301 549. The test report indicates that the WCAG Level AA is not met on the tested page. Among other things, 23 elements were flagged as having insufficient color contrast according to an AA criterion. For example, the “Book” control element was found to have a contrast ratio of 2.81 instead of the minimum value of 4.5 required by the report. Another 8 flagged elements relate exclusively to AAA criteria.
The automated scan only covered the URL entered. It is not a complete accessibility audit, nor is it proof of compliance. The report also flags 110 elements as requiring manual review. The remaining pages and the entire booking process have therefore not yet been comprehensively evaluated. We plan to have the website, including the online booking process, comprehensively reviewed by March 2027. We will review and address any barriers that are identified.
